Johnson Arabia, the UAE-based mobile crane and aerial work platforms (AWP) hire company, operates its own fleet of over 250 mobile cranes and 700 AWPs.
As a certified IPAF center, all AWP and crane operators at Johnson Arabia are continuously refreshed and retrained as per new standards.
Recently, Johnson Arabia expanded its fleet with several Maeda spider cranes.
The company has seen growing demand in its customer base for mini cranes, pick and carry cranes and vacuum lifter to aid their projects ranging from the construction industry to the oil and gas industry and the Expo 2020 pavilions where it is difficult to have lager cranes and lifting devices.
Martin Kirby, managing director, Johnson Arabia, says: “Our business is constantly evolving and expanding even during such challenging times and we will never stop demanding the best and will work together with our partners and clients to provide the industry with the best total lifting solutions.
“Spider cranes will enable companies to continue work on large scale projects and fast track certain challenging lifting and placement operations. Maeda spider mini cranes will also work in conjunction with our existing line of cranes and AWPs. This, along with the best technical support in the business makes Johnson Arabia an easy option to choose for a company’s lifting needs.”
In response to the COVID-19 situation, Johnson Arabia has launched a 24×7 WhatsApp line, 052- LIFTING (543 8464), which enables customers to contact the company any time for support.
“We are looking at expanding in the Saudi market because we see demand for rental equipment. In terms of a strategy, we know that a lot of companies will be looking into rentals as owning equipment will be a continuous maintenance expense for them; so renting from us is the most cost effective solution in this current market and that’s the business we will target,” says Kirby.
